Hey there! I'm Ruth, the owner of The Author's Peace Co. This business was born in a time when I needed it most.

I was in NYC at the height of the pandemic, working as a nurse. I saw and experienced things I never thought I would in my nursing career. When my religious exemption was revoked, I was forced to make a choice I didn't want to make.

It broke my heart deeply to leave my nursing jobs. For 18 months, I was unemployed. I watched the life I had built crumble before my eyes.

But in that chaos, God met me. He healed me. He provided for me. He made a way.

And I returned to my first love—art.

It was in His word that I found peace: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." —John 14:27
